Do you only use live interviewers?
Almost always. While we have Interactive Voice Response (IVR) capabilities, we have found that this type of data collection produces unreliable data. There's no replacing a live, friendly, well-trained interviewer to walk a respondent through a survey.
Where do your survey calls originate from?
All our surveys are conducted by a team of highly-trained, accent-neutral, professional agents based in Virginia. Each team member is well-supervised to ensure the highest standards of quality and professionalism. We are committed to conducting all our surveys within the United States, guaranteeing reliability and accuracy in our data collection.
Don't people dislike getting phone calls?
We've been doing this a long time and here's what we've found: Most people dislike sales calls - but ask someone to give you his or her opinion, and they're usually very happy to give it to you.
Can you call cell phones?
We can. However, please note that due to FCC regulations, we must dial all cell phones by hand (in other words, we can't use an auto-dialer). As a result, this makes surveying cell phones more labor intensive and expensive than surveying landlines.
You use an auto-dialer for landlines?
Yes, unless you instruct us otherwise. Simply put, using a computer to dial surveys allows us to be far more cost-efficient, and we can pass those savings on to you. We've also found that it is unlikely a respondent will ever know they have been contacted via an auto-dialer.
What if I have a list that contains cell phones?
Not a problem. If we're using an auto-dialer, then we always scrub the list against a database that tells us if a number is a cell phone or a landline. If it's a cell phone, we won't call it using an auto-dialer. There's no charge for this service.
Do you keep a Do Not Call list?
We do. And although survey research is exempt from Do Not Call, it's good business practice. In addition, we are happy to provide you with a file at the conclusion of your survey with any Do Not Call requests.
How will my survey data be returned to me?
We'll quickly submit the raw data to you in Excel. After that, you tell us what you want cross-tab and graphed and we'll get you a full-blown report.
How do I listen in while my interviews are being conducted?
We'll give you a phone number that you'll use to dial-in and listen to your surveys. Of course, we'll need to coordinate this ahead of time so we can make sure your surveys are scheduled when you want to listen.
How long have you been in business?
We have been in business since 1994.
Where do you provide service?
Anywhere in the United States.
What about time zones?
We customize each survey to take into account time zones. No one will ever receive a survey call after 9:00 PM in their time zone.
Can I use my own list?
Absolutely.
What if I don't have a list?
We can easily help you get one using one of our preferred list vendors.
How many unique records does my list need?
There are many factors that ultimately determine what size list you need, but as a general rule we need about 15-20 records for every one completed survey. So, for an n=400 survey, we would need about 8,000 records. But again, no worries, we're with you every step of the way and will be able to make a determination once we see your survey and audience.
